  • A 140 x 200 cm duvet is the standard size and suitable for most beds. It is the most popular choice for everyday use.
  • A 160 x 220 cm duvet is wider and longer. This size is ideal if you are taller than 1.80 m or want extra space and comfort.

  • 90 x 200 cm bed → choose 140 x 200 cm
  • 140 x 200 cm bed → choose 160 x 220 cm
  • 160 x 200 cm bed → often chosen: 2x 140 x 200 cm
  • 180 x 200 cm bed → often chosen: 2x 140 x 200 cm or 2x 160 x 220 cm for extra comfort

Light wrinkling can occur with any high-quality cotton, but it’s minimal. The fabric becomes softer with each wash. For the smoothest look, air dry or remove from the dryer shortly before the end of the cycle and shake out. Our wool dryer balls further reduce wrinkles and add extra fluff.

How do I return an item?

How long does it take to dry?

You can air dry or use a dryer. The duvet is designed to dry quickly. In a dryer it’s ready to use immediately. Air drying typically takes 3–6 hours depending on humidity and room temperature.

How often should I wash my Plumelle duvet?

For the freshest sleep, we recommend washing every two weeks.

Is a duvet without a cover suitable for people with allergies?

Many people with allergies prefer bedding that can be washed regularly at higher temperatures. Because the entire Plumelle duvet can be washed, dust, mites and other residues can be thoroughly removed.

Is a duvet without a cover sustainable?

Where does the wool for your dryer balls come from?

Our wool comes from New Zealand where mulesing has been banned since 2018. The wool is collected as part of regular sheep care and is a natural byproduct of shearing. We only work with suppliers that meet high animal welfare standards.
